Make a donation in memory of Gus
The Legacy Club of South Australia and Broken Hill is honoured to remember Angus ‘Gus’ Hughes, a World War II Bomber Command veteran and prisoner of war, whose life and service will be remembered with great respect.
A State Funeral celebrating Gus’s life and achievements will be held at 2.00pm on Friday 14 August 2026 at the Torrens Parade Ground Drill Hall, Adelaide.
In lieu of flowers, Gus’s family has kindly invited those wishing to honour his memory to make a donation to Legacy SA & Broken Hill, helping us continue to care for and support the families of our veterans. We thank you for remembering Gus in a way that will make a meaningful difference.
